The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct two special live trading sessions on Saturday, March 2. This decision comes as the market regulator SEBI emphasizes the importance of market intermediaries being prepared for unexpected disasters and ensuring a smooth switch to a business continuity plan at disaster recovery sites.
The first session will commence at 9:15 am and conclude at 10:00 am. The second session will start at 11:30 am and end at 12:30 pm. The purpose of these sessions is to ensure that trading activities continue without interruptions and that all data remains secure.
During these special sessions, all securities, including those with derivative products, will have a maximum price band of 5 per cent. Securities already in a 2 per cent or lower price band will continue to be available in their respective bands, as stated by the NSE.
Furthermore, keep tracking Indian Stock Market, Gift Nifty Future live price and Global Market Live to setup your tomorrow investment and trading strategies. Also keep updated with latest NSE Stock Results and Stock Events.
